What is the CPA Center?
The CPA Center is a meeting facility operated by CSCPA, adjoining to the main administrative office of the Society in the central location of Rocky Hill. The Center is run for professionals by professionals and can be rented out for your meeting, class, or seminar.
Does CSCPA use the CPA Center facility?
Absolutely. Each year the Society uses the CPA Center to present several conferences plus approximately 150 seminars and technical sessions.
How is the facility set up?
 | The CPA Center is made up of a large classroom known as The Grand, a more intimate classroom space known as The Board Room, and a common area to set up food or simply allow your participants to stretch their legs. |
How many people does the CPA Center hold?
The Grand holds 80 participants, but the capacity goes up to 120 people if the room is set up theater-style, which is your choice. The room can also be divided in half (The Grand North and the Grand South) by our state-of-the-art soundproof air wall. The Board Room holds 40 in a classroom set-up and 24 in a "hollow square" board meeting set-up. You can reserve one of the rooms or both for your event.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
You certainly may - but there's no need to. The following equipment is included in your room rental fee:
- TV/VCR
- LCD Projector
- Screen
- White Boards
- Flip Charts
- Lectern (tabletop or free-standing)
- Wireless Lavaliere Microphone
What if I want to feed my participants?
At the CPA Center, you can make arrangements with our approved caterer - or we'll do it for you. Food can be set up on several waist-high countertops in the common area. The common area also features an ice and soda machine and a coffee maker.
Where are all of my participants going to park?
The Center has more than enough parking. Just park anywhere in the large parking lot and walk right into the Center - no parking fees, attendants, or validation tickets to worry about.
