High School CPA Careers Conferences
University of New Haven on October 27, 2006
Manchester Community College on November 3, 2006
Due to popular demand and the need to meet increasing attendance figures, the CSCPA Relations with Secondary Schools Committee offered up two CPA Careers Conferences for Connecticut high school students this fall.
The two conferences combined entertained and educated students and teachers from high schools across the state. Students were introduced to some of the different career opportunities that becoming a CPA can offer by listening and interacting with a variety of speakers and members of the CSCPA. Also, courtesy of each college, participants were provided with breakfast foods, boxed lunches, raffle prizes and the option to take part in a campus tour.
