The CSCPA Mission
The mission of the Connecticut Society of CPAs is to be the professional association in Connecticut that promotes and supports state CPAs through Advocacy, Community, and Education.

Advocacy
- Monitor the regulatory and legislative environments in Connecticut on behalf of the profession and initiate appropriate proactive measures supportive of the profession;
- Establish and maintain relationships within the business and professional communities supportive of the profession;
- Enhance the image and prestige of the CPA profession.
Community
- Provide effective communications channels for the membership;
- Act as a catalyst for the evolving culture of the profession;
- Monitor societal and technological trends in the workplace and facilitate the profession’s adaptation to these changes;
- Facilitate member retention and implement programs to attract new members.
Education
- Provide high quality, professional education, which is responsive to emerging professional trends and utilizes varied and innovative delivery methods;
- Provide effective programs of practice monitoring and self-regulation, which support both the profession and the public interest.
