Connecticut Accounting Leadership Scholarships

 

Amount: $5,000 scholarships

Purpose: To assist undergraduate Connecticut students majoring in accounting at institutions of higher education in financing their college education. This scholarship has been established with the support of the Connecticut offices of the firms of Ernst & Young LLP, KPMG LLP, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Awarded: Spring semester

To apply: The deadline for the 2008 Connecticut Accounting Leadership Scholarships has passed. Check back in 2009 for the scholarship's availability and application deadline.



Children of CSCPA Members Scholarships

 

Deadline: August 31, 2008

Amount: $500 scholarships

Purpose: To assist students in accredited accounting programs with parents holding membership in the CSCPA in financing their college educations

Awarded: Annually in the fall

The Candidate's Awards

 

Deadline: August 31, 2008

Amount: $3,000 scholarships

Purpose: To assist students in complying with the 150-hour educational requirement of the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy.

The Junior Awards

 

Amount: $500 scholarships

Purpose: To assist undergraduate accounting majors at Connecticut colleges or universities recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy in financing their educations

Awarded: During the spring semester by an ETF Trustee at each school's accounting department awards ceremony

To apply: Scholarship recipients are determined via faculty recommendation 


   

The Minority CPA Exam Candidate Review Course Grants

 

Amount: A fully paid CPA Exam Review Course

Purpose: To assist minorities in becoming CPAs in Connecticut

Awarded: At the discretion of the Trustees

The Outstanding Community College Accounting Student Awards

 

Amount: $500 scholarships

Purpose: To assist community college accounting students in continuing their educations at four-year Connecticut colleges or universities recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy

Awarded: By the ETF in the spring

To apply:  Scholarship recipients are determined via faculty recommendation  


 

Accounting Department Grant

 

Amount: At the discretion of the Trustees

Purpose: To assist the accounting department in a four-year Connecticut college or university recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy in enhancing the department's ability to teach

Awarded: Annually in the fall

Accounting Club Grant

 

Amount: At the discretion of the Trustees

Purpose: To assist an accounting club at a four-year Connecticut college or university recognized by the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy in realizing its objectives

Awarded: Annually in the fall
